Teen Writing Group: NaNoWriMo – Activity Room
November 18 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Monday, repeating until December 2, 2019
Every year thousands of writers all over the world drop everything and devote the month of November to writing a new novel.
50,000 words in just 30 days?! It can be done!
The idea behind NaNoWriMo is not to create the perfect novel. It is to get 50,000 words OUT of your head and ONTO the paper (or computer, or clay tablet, or whatever). It doesn’t have to be great writing, or spelled correctly, or have perfect grammar. All of that will come later when you are editing!
NaNoWriMo Teens can join our weekly meet up to share excerpts, ideas, and advice as we work to reach our goal. Remember, it doesn’t have to be good, it just has to be 50k words.
To join our online classroom go to ywp.nanowrimo.org and use the code UUPEUXOR
We will meet three Mondays in November:
Our wrap up and celebration of all the words we’ve written will be the first Monday of December, the 2nd. There will be cake.
