The Fairhope Library offers five study rooms for patron use. Each room is equipped with a table, electrical outlets, and a white board (without erasers or markers). Three rooms feature long rectangular wooden tables with six chairs. These rooms have a maximum of eight people. The other two rooms feature round wooden tables with four chairs and a maximum of six people. Three rooms have a window to allow outside lighting as well. Study Room 1 is well-equipped with math manipulatives and school supplies for Elementary homeschooling and homework help. Please respect the learning materials in this room.
Wi-fi networks are available with the option for wi-fi printing.
Reservations are required for study rooms and can be made by stopping in Youth Services or by calling 929-1465.

Are you taking an online class and need a professional test proctor to oversee your quizzes, midterm and final? Do you need to take a professional certification exam and need a test proctor?
We invite you to use our services at the Fairhope Public Library. Proctoring is available Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Appointments are REQUIRED and MUST be scheduled ahead of time. Proctoring availability is subject to employee availability. Fees for tests are $25.00 for up to 2 hours with an additional $10.00 per hour. Fees are payable at the time of the exam.
Students are responsible for contacting their institution to ensure that the exam and other required exam materials are sent to the proctor. Tracking test deadlines are the student’s responsibilities.
