POETRY SLAM
The Teen Advisory Board of the Fairhope Public Library held a Poetry Slam on Saturday, April 26th from 4 to 6 PM in the Giddens Conference Center. Each person either read an original poem or one from a favorite author. They enjoyed coffee, cookies and other treats while snapping approval of each poem. In honor of the poetry slam the teens adopted the phrase "Snap don't clap" for each reading. In no particular order the teens pictured in the group photo (titled photo 1 TAB Poetry Slam) are: Lauren Kelly, Laura Ellenburg, Marcus Alford, Cody Lasseter, Jessica Bishop, Maddie Rider, Emily Flechas, Lindsay Cassibry, Gabrielle Lamplugh, Thea Petties and Anna Killian.
