Consanguinity VII - More
books, plays, etc to Movies
Do you just love books?
Do you just love movies? Do you just love movies made from books? If so, join
us at Fairhope Public Library for Consanguinity VII: Movies from Books,
Plays, Etc., the library’s seventh annual adult summer program. A
literary discussion and movie viewing will be presented on four Wednesdays in
July (9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th) at 2:00 pm in
the Giddens Conference Center at the library.
July 9th
– Peggy Reagan presents The Member of the Wedding, by Carson
McCullers
July 16th – Donna Esslinger presents The Off-Islanders, by
Nathaniel Benchley
July 23rd – Janice Charles presents Cinema Paradiso, by
Giuseppe Tornatore
July 30th – Brenda Huchingson presents In a Lonely Place,
by Dorothy Belle Hughes
Snacks will be
served prior to the program. For more information, call the library at

at 6 p.m. in the Giddens Conference.
Join the Close Knit
Circle!
Every Friday from 12 to 2 pm come and participate in a
Knitting Happening in the Giddens Conference Center at the Fairhope
Public Library. All knitters are welcome – from novices to pros.
No formal instruction, but lots of sharing and helping each other.
No refreshments will be served, but if you are on your lunch hour,
feel free to bring your lunch. Don’t have a project? We
will provide you with one! For more information please call
