Ages 8-12 Do you love LEGOs? So do we! Kids ages 8-12 can come upstairs to the MakerSpace for collaborative play and building, working toward our very own LEGO brickfilm, filmed by our FHPL builders!
Ages 2-8. Our Activity Room will be open and stocked with Lincoln logs, blocks, LEGOs, and more. This is unstructured free play and exploration. Parents are required to directly supervise their children and help clean up. Stop by and see what you can build!
The Close Knit Circle invites all hand crafters to join them in the Board Room. All experience levels welcome.

All Ages The Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival is visiting the library for a musical experience like no other! There will be classical and narrative pieces performed as well as an interactive time frame where children can learn more about specific instruments and musicians.

Ages 18mo-3yrs. This storytime is for all of the roamers, movers, and shakers! The program lasts 30-40 minutes, with about 15-20 minutes dedicated to reading, rhyme, and music, and 20 minutes dedicated to block play and socialization or crafts and coloring.
Ages 4+ This is a story hour filled with rhymes, music, games, and crafts. Our goal here is to have fun while learning to be a good audience member and developing a love of reading. We’ll read a story and work on a themed craft or game

Ages 8-12 Join Ms. Stephanie for a time of theatrical learning and fun for ages 8-12! We will become characters from a different book each week by making costumes, practicing our roles, and then acting our scripts out on stage together! There is no need to memorize as we will read right from the script.
