Ages 8-12 Do you love LEGOs? So do we! Kids ages 8-12 can come to the Activity Room downstairs in Youth Services for collaborative play and building, working toward our very own LEGO brickfilm, filmed by our FHPL builders!

Ages 2-8. Our Activity Room will be open and stocked with Lincoln logs, blocks, LEGOs, and more. This is unstructured free play and exploration. Parents are required to directly supervise their children and help clean up. Stop by and see what you can build!
The Close Knit Circle invites all hand crafters to join them in the Board Room. All experience levels welcome.
Ages 8-12. This pr0gram is for all of our patrons who like to get a little messy with science! Kids 8+ can stop by to learn the science behind making bouncy balls and slime as well as participating in creating their own!
Meets on Mondays in the Computer Lab to discuss a TED talk of interest. Everyone is welcome.

Ages 18m-3yrs This storytime is for all of the roamers, movers, and shakers! The program lasts 30-40 minutes, with about 15-20 minutes dedicated to reading, rhyme, and music, and 20minutes dedicated to block play and socialization or crafts and coloring.

Ages 4+ This is a story hour filled with rhymes, music, games, and crafts. Our goal here is to have fun while learning to be a good audience member and developing a love of reading. We’ll read a story and work on a themed craft or game.
Ages 13-17 What are you reading? What is everyone else reading? Bring your current book and tell us why you love or hate it. 5pm on the last Tuesday of every month in the Activity Room.
The League of Women Voters of Baldwin County invite you to a panel discussion with moderator Cynthia Tucker and panelists Rob Holbert, Lynn Oldshue, and Mary Helene Hall to discuss the state of local news. Free and open to the public.
Ages Newborn-18m This storytime is for our lap-sitters and crawlers. The program lasts approximately 30 minutes, with about 10-15minutes dedicated to reading and rhyme, and 20 minutes dedicated to tummy time/ floor play or socialization for parents and babies!
LDS volunteers will be available for one-on-one assistance with the use of the Family Search database. Use our computers or bring your own laptop. Reservations are required for this class; please call the Reference Desk at 251-929-1464 to reserve your spot.
