SUMMARY:Estate Planning Class - Computer Lab
DESCRIPTION:Join John Brown\, Certified Financial Planner Board Emeritus\, financial columnist for the Fairhope Courier\, and past President of International Association of Financial Planners at Fairhope Public Library for a comprehensive estate planning course. This course will acquaint you with the ins and outs of multiple estate documents and will include suggestions on how to use them collectively to achieve your estate planning goals. The course will be interactive and held in consecutive sessions in the Fairhope Library Computer lab from 9:30-11am:\nSaturday\, March 22: Will & Trust\nSaturday\, March 1: Durable Power of Attorney\, Alabama Health Care Directive\, and the Beneficiary form\nSaturday\, March 8: Informal Question & Answer session \nRegistration is required at the Reference Desk in person or by calling 251-929-1464. \nJohn Brown\, Certified Financial Board Emeritus holds a B.S. degree from Florida State University in Marketing and Finance. In 1986 he founded Brown Financial Advisory\, a fee-only financial and investment firm in Fairhope AL and managed it until he retired in 2010.\nDuring his career he served on local and national professional boards\, wrote financial columns for the Fairhope Courier\, presented financial/retirement planning seminars for employees of various companies\, and taught financial and estate planning classes for USA-BC in the non-credit division.\nSince 2010 he has been a volunteer for several local civic organizations is currently a Thomas Hospital Auxiliary volunteer.

DESCRIPTION:Do you love Italian art\, culture and language? If so\, this course is for you!\nIt encompasses History\, Art\, Geography\, basic Grammar and Travel into one delightful learning experience. This interactive 6-week class\, led by Giorgi Di Lemis\, will guide students through Italian culture\, and will focus on the influence it had on other cultures. There will also be a basic language component\, teaching students simple speaking and writing skills. Class members will be engaged through web links\, videos\, and lectures and will finish the course with an even deeper appreciation of “all things Italy” than when they began.
