Goode of Alabama\n\nJoin us at Fairhope Public Library for a free screening of “Medicine and the Movement\,” a documentary about Dr. Escous B. Goode\, one of Alabama’s earliest and most successful African-American physicians who fought to desegregate hospitals\, schools\, and buses during the Civil Rights Movement. His 56-year career in Mobile included delivering 5\,000+ babies at Blessed Martin de Porres Hospital. The documentary will be presented by the executive director of the Mobile Medical Museum\, Dr. Daryn Glassbrook.
