In honor of President’s Day and Abe Lincoln’s birthday month, we’ll be crafting log cabins out of a variety of twigs, craft sticks, coffee stirrers, and yes, Lincoln logs! Form a team and get ready to design, plan, and build a log cabin to compete in categories for largest, sturdiest, most technical, and most charming. Kindergarteners through fifth graders (ages 5-11 years) and their parents or grandparents are welcome to join in on this STEAM event provided by Fairhope Public Library’s After-School Art program. Building supplies will be provided by the library. Patrons may bring embellishments to enhance their design.
