Ages 8+ years: Come prepared to decorate a tiny house, fit for a mouse! The build will take place over three Tuesdays, and we will provide the houses, craft, and art supplies, completely free! Ages 13-18: Join us to talk about library programming. Mandatory for teen library volunteers, all teens are welcome.
Holiday Coir Doormat: We will be using stencils to decorate Holiday themed welcome mats. The class size will be limited to 8 people. Registration is required contact the Reference Dept. #251-929-1464 Registration will close on Nov 12th.
Ages: 4-12 Do you love LEGOs? So do we! Kids ages 4-12 can come in every Wednesday for collaborative play and building. Create your own castle, spaceship, or even a LEGO Brickfilm with your friends. Parents MUST stay with children 6 and younger.
Ages: 13-18 We will make new stamps and discuss where we will hide our next letterbox.
Educational Seminar for Executors & Trustees
Ages 0-18 months This storytime is for our lap-sitters and crawlers. The program lasts approximately 30 minutes, with about 10-15 minutes dedicated to reading and rhyme, and 20 minutes dedicated to tummy time/floor play or socialization for parents and babies!
The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. The group is open to all who want to attend. No sign up is required.
The library will be hosting a 2-hour computer class. The first hour will be spent on learning the basics, and the second hour will be dedicated to Microsoft (Word, Excel) and Google (Docs, Sheets) apps. Reservations are required for either of these events, sign-up at the Reference Desk or call 251-929-1464.
All ages. Our Activity Room will be open and stocked with Lincoln logs, blocks, LEGOs, and more. This is unstructured free play and exploration. Parents are required to directly supervise their children and help clean up. Stop by and see what you can build!
The Close Knit Circle invites all hand crafters to join them in the Board Room. All experience levels welcome.
