Join John Brown, Certified Financial Planner Board Emeritus, financial columnist for the Fairhope Courier, and past President of International Association of Financial Planners at Fairhope Public Library for a comprehensive estate planning course. This course will acquaint you with the ins and outs of multiple estate documents and will include suggestions on how to use them collectively to achieve your estate planning goals. The course will be interactive and held in consecutive sessions in the Fairhope Library Computer lab from 9:30-11am:

Monday, November 18: Durable Power of Attorney, Alabama Health Care Directive, and the Beneficiary form

John Brown, Certified Financial Board Emeritus holds a B.S. degree from Florida State University in Marketing and Finance. In 1986 he founded Brown Financial Advisory, a fee-only financial and investment firm in Fairhope AL and managed it until he retired in 2010.
During his career he served on local and national professional boards, wrote financial columns for the Fairhope Courier, presented financial/retirement planning seminars for employees of various companies, and taught financial and estate planning classes for USA-BC in the non-credit division.
Since 2010 he has been a volunteer for several local civic organizations is currently a Thomas Hospital Auxiliary volunteer.
