Harriet Brill Outlaw is a retired educator who has a passion for local history. She has authored four local history books and co-produced more than 30 documentaries on historic schools, churches, and communities of Baldwin County. A professional storyteller, she wrote some of her favorite folklore stories and legends for a popular series for newspaper and magazine columns. She and her husband live in Fairhope, Alabama. They are both involved in several historical organizations.
