General Information and Policies

The Fairhope Library offers five study rooms for patron use. Study Rooms 1-3 feature long rectangular wooden tables with six chairs and can accommodate a maximum of eight people. Study Room 4-5 feature round wooden tables with four chairs and can accommodate a maximum of six people. Each room is equipped with a table, electrical outlets, and a whiteboard.

Study Rooms can be reserved the following ways:

  • Phone: 251-929-1465 (during business hours only)

  • or finding a Youth Services librarian

Study Rooms can be reserved for one hour, up to one week in advance. Study Rooms may be renewed if no one is waiting or no reservation has been made. Longer reservations can be made for special circumstances, pending approval from the Youth Services Department Head.

Upon arrival, patrons must check-in with Library Staff at the Youth Services Department. Study Rooms are locked unless in use.

Food is not allowed in study rooms. Any drinks should be covered. Please alert the staff to any spills and tidy the room before you depart. Study Rooms will be inspected for any damage and for any left behind items after each use.
