Free Build – Activity Room
All ages. Our Activity Room will be open and stocked with Lincoln logs, blocks, LEGOs, and more. This is unstructured free play and exploration. Parents are required to directly supervise their children and help clean up. Stop by and see what you can build!
TED Talks Discussion Group – Board Room
Meets on Mondays in the Board Room to discuss a TED talk of interest. Everyone is welcome.
Pokémon Club – Activity Room
Ages 5-12: Calling all Pokémon fans! Join us once a month to watch cartoons, trade cards, play the Pokémon TCG, or do Pokémon-themed crafts and activities! Meet other kids who love Pokémon
Haunted Paintings – Teen Services
Ages – 13-18: Use your artistic skills and our supplies to insert spooky ghosts into old paintings. No experience necessary, just ghostly sense of humor! Upstairs in the Teen Space!
Poetry Reading & Open Mic Night – Giddens
The Fairhope Public Library will be hosting an open mic-style poetry reading. The event will be MC'ed by local author Deb Hackbarth. This event is free and open to all; bring a poem to read, be it famous, obscure, or one of your own creation!

Toddler Storytime – Activity Room
Ages 18 months-2 years: Theme: Halloween! This storytime is for all of the roamers, movers, and shakers! The program lasts 30-40 minutes, with about 15-20 minutes dedicated to reading, rhyme, and music, and 20 minutes dedicated to play and socialization or crafts and coloring.
Big Kid Storytime – Activity Room
Ages 3+: Theme: Halloween! This is a story hour filled with books, games, and crafts. Our goal here is to have fun while learning to be a good audience member and developing a love of reading. We'll read a story and work on a themed craft or game.
Genealogy Assistance using FamilySearch.org – Computer Lab
LDS volunteers will be available for one-on-one assistance with the use of the Family Search database. Use our computers or bring your own laptop. Reservations are required for this class; please call the Reference Desk at 251-929-1464 to reserve your spot before the day of the event.
Art Lab: Halloween – Activity Room
All Ages: We provide the supplies, and you provide the creativity! Come make a fun Halloween craft to celebrate the spooky season!
Italian Culture & Grammar – Board Room
Led by local expert Giorgi Di Lemis! These classes will discuss Italian Culture, Conversational Language, Geography, History, Music, Poetry, Movies & Travel tips. Registration is required! Lego Club – Activity Room
Ages: 4-12: Do you love LEGOs? So do we! Kids ages 4-12 can come in every week for collaborative play and building. Create your own castle, spaceship, or even a LEGO Brickfilm with your friends. Parents MUST stay in the room with children 6 and younger.
Teen Crochet Club – Teen Services
Ages - 13-18: Bring your WiP and hang out with other teen crocheters. We will have yarn, hooks, and patterns in case you want to learn!
Pumpkin Watercolor – MakerSpace
All Ages: Come to the MakerSpace and bring your little sibs for an all ages watercolor class. Space is limited to 12 spots so register early.

Ages 0-18 months This storytime is for our lap-sitters and crawlers. The program lasts approximately 40-45 minutes, with about 10-15 minutes dedicated to reading and rhyme, and the rest dedicated to tummy time/floor play or socialization for parents and babies!
