All ages. Our Activity Room will be open and stocked with Lincoln logs, blocks, LEGOs, and more. This is unstructured free play and exploration. Parents are required to directly supervise their children and help clean up. Stop by and see what you can build!

Meets on Mondays in the Board Room to discuss a TED talk of interest. Everyone is welcome.
Poetry Reading & Open Mic Night – Giddens
The Fairhope Public Library will be hosting an open mic-style poetry reading. The event will be MC'ed by local author Deb Hackbarth. This event is free and open to all; bring a poem to read, be it famous, obscure, or one of your own creation!

Toddler Storytime – Activity Room
Ages 18 months-2 years: This storytime is for all of the roamers, movers, and shakers! The program lasts 30-40 minutes, with about 15-20 minutes dedicated to reading, rhyme, and music, and 20 minutes dedicated to play and socialization or crafts and coloring.
Book Review and Lecture Series – Giddens
Allen Todd - Review of Mosquito Warrior by Carol R. Byerly. A timely biography of General William C. Gorgas, the US Army doctor whose pioneering fight against infectious disease around the world set the stage for the American Century.
Big Kid Storytime – Activity Room
Ages 3+: This is a story hour filled with books, games, and crafts. Our goal here is to have fun while learning to be a good audience member and developing a love of reading. We'll read a story and work on a themed craft or game.
Genealogy Assistance using FamilySearch.org – Computer Lab
LDS volunteers will be available for one-on-one assistance with the use of the Family Search database. Use our computers or bring your own laptop. Reservations are required for this class; please call the Reference Desk at 251-929-1464 to reserve your spot.

Ages 0-18 months This storytime is for our lap-sitters and crawlers. The program lasts approximately 40-45 minutes, with about 10-15 minutes dedicated to reading and rhyme, and the rest dedicated to tummy time/floor play or socialization for parents and babies!
Diving Deep Dialogues Discussion Group – Board Room
Ages: 18+ Led by Andrea Cherry. The library will be hosting a new philosophy, sociology, and science discussion group! Deep Dive Dialogues meets on the 1st & 3rd Thursday's of each month.
